STARC

STARC is the Japanese consortium for design infrastructures, development of

SoC platforms and standardization of the 90nm technology. STARC started the 90nm process development project from 2003 which was sponsered by Japanese govenment in an effort to develop a reference design flow to dramatically increase design efficiency.

Simucad Design Automations is pleased to offer the PDK for STARC’s  90nm  CMOS process available for no charge to STARC customers.

The Simucad PDK helps jump-start designers with an instantly productive environment for new design projects and ensures manufacturing success with pre-configured schematic symbols, SPICE models and layout technology files.

The Simucad PDK includes schematic symbols, SPICE models, Parameterized Cells (PCELLS), DRC/LVS runsets, parasitic extraction runsets, and scripts that run Simucad EDA tools to automate the generation and verification of design data.
