Dr. Ivan Pesic

Dr. Ivan Pesic is Founder, President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Simucad Design Automation Inc. He is also the Chief Technology Officer responsible for managing the company's research and development. In this role, he sets the overall direction of Simucad's technology and products.

Prior to forming Simucad in 2004, Dr. Pesic was the President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Silvaco, positions he still holds. He founded Silvaco in 1984, growing the company profitably with no external financing. From 1977 to 1984, Dr.Pesic held various positions at National Semiconductor, Hewlett Packard, Tandem Computers and Monolithic Memories.

Dr. Pesic holds a BSEE from the University of Belgrade, a MSEE and Ph.D in EE from the University of Santa Clara and a MSIM/EM from Stanford University.

 

David Halliday

David Halliday is the vice president of engineering responsible for all aspects of software development, standardization, quality and release cycle management within Simucad. 

Prior to joining Simucad he served for twelve years as the vice president of engineering at Silvaco.

Mr. Halliday holds a BS in Computer Science and an MS in Computer Software and Systems Design from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

 

Gary Micchelli

Gary Micchelli serves as the Controller and company secretary for Simucad Design Automation. Mr. Micchelli has over 20 years of financial experience. He came to Simucad in 2004 as part of its spin-off from Silvaco where he served as Controller. Prior to joining Silvaco he was finance manager at the Software Division of UB Networks. Previously he held senior financial positions in high technology manufacturing, banking and in public accounting.

Mr. Micchelli holds a BS in Accounting from Rutgers University, an MBA from the University of Southern California and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Claudia Karell

Claudia Karell is the Corporate Human Resources Manager Simucad Design Automation.

She is responsible for managing HR policies and benefits to keep Simucad a great place to work and grow while assuring compliance with state and federal labor laws.

Mrs. Karell holds a BA in Business Administration from San Jose State University.
